Manufacture and realization of cold room
First of all, we visit the customer’s premises to visit the installation and draw up a detailed plan of the cold room to be built.
In order to ensure our customer’s satisfaction, we give importance even to small details and also to the specific needs of our customer.
Once the plan is established, we proceed to the realization of your project. We use high quality raw materials and equipment to ensure the proper functioning of the installation.
Thanks to our experience in the field of refrigeration, your projects are carried out according to the established plan by respecting all the technical details and by ensuring a pleasant aesthetic side.
The Best Performances
We integrate new technologies
We take advantage of new technologies to improve the performance of your solution.
It is obvious that the cold room must respect rules relating to the construction of the walls, the floor and the ceiling.
Generally walls and ceilings are made from so-called sandwich panels. These cold room panels are suitable for several reasons:
They respect hygiene standards: they are insulating walls, non-toxic, rot-proof and easy to clean.
Also, these panels strongly respect the anti-fire standards, thanks to an integrated fire protection technology.
Cold Room Types
Types of cold rooms:
According to the type of temperature of the cold room, there are two types. Positive temperature cold room and negative temperature cold room. In order to guarantee a total thermal insulation, the thickness of the isothermal panels varies according to the type of temperature of the cold room.
SYNTEC REFRIGERATION is specialized in the sale of equipments and the installation of cold rooms in all the VAR. Thanks to its team of experts, Syntec Refrigeration brings you the most adapted solution to your needs and guarantees you a long life time thanks to the equipments, material and the quality of the work done.
Also, Syntec Refrigeration provides you with a hotline number to receive your phone calls for any request for rapid intervention for the repair and maintenance of your equipment in case of breakdown or any request for total or partial renovation of your equipments.
Positive cold room (between 0 and 3°C), it is recommended to use 60 to 80 mm thick panels.
Negative cold room (-X °C), it is recommended to use panels with a thickness of at least 100 mm.
FAQ
Frequently Asked Questions
WHAT MATERIAL TO USE FOR THE WALLS, FLOOR AND CEILING OF THE COLD ROOM?
The cold room must comply with the rules for the construction of the walls, floor and ceiling.
For the walls and ceilings, they are generally made from sandwich panels. These cold room panels are particularly suitable for several reasons:
Firstly, they meet the required hygiene standards: they are insulating, rot-proof, non-toxic walls that are easy to clean.
Secondly, they comply with the fire protection standards, thanks to an integrated fire protection.
According to the type of temperature of the cold room, the thickness of the isothermal panels differs in order to guarantee a total insulation. We speak then about cold room with positive or negative temperature.
For a positive cold room (between 0 and 3 °C), we recommend using panels with a thickness of 60 to 80 mm
For a negative cold room (below 0 °C), we recommend using panels with a thickness of at least 100 mm.
WHICH STORAGE FURNITURE TO CHOOSE FOR YOUR HOME?
WHICH STORAGE FURNITURE TO CHOOSE FOR YOUR HOME?
Among the refrigerated equipment, the storage spaces, the cabinets or shelves which are essential within your refrigerated room in order to store and arrange your food. It is forbidden to store your products on the floor.
Cleanliness being a basic principle of hygiene, these spaces must be easily removable for regular deep cleaning.
WHAT KIND OF LIGHTING TO CHOOSE FOR YOUR COLD ROOM?
It is also very important to take into account the lighting during the realization of the cold rooms to ensure you a good visibility and to fight against the accidents related to a defective or too weak light.
The lighting must be suitable and resistant to cold temperatures. For this purpose, we recommend LED lighting, which has many advantages: in addition to excellent brightness and low energy consumption, the LED will produce little heat, which will not lead to overconsumption of energy due to cooling.
WHICH TYPE OF REFRIGERATION UNIT AND WHICH TEMPERATURE CONTROL SYSTEM TO CHOOSE?
WHICH TYPE OF REFRIGERATION UNIT AND WHICH TEMPERATURE CONTROL SYSTEM TO CHOOSE?
The control of the temperatures of the cold rooms at negative temperature obeys the compulsory European norm. Indeed, the European regulation no 37/2005 establishes the obligation to install a device to record the temperature in the storage places in order to ensure a regular control on the frozen products. However, some derogations are possible depending on the size of the premises. Indeed, negative cold rooms of less than 10 m² intended for retail sale and distribution are not subject to the obligation.
Refrigerated rooms must also be equipped with a refrigeration unit, a ventilation system that allows the preservation of food. The refrigeration unit is essential to your cold room because it is the one that ensures the ventilation of the air and its cooling. It also allows to control and adjust the temperature of the cold room.
There are two types of refrigeration units: the split unit and the monobloc unit:
The split system consists of two units. One is installed in the cold store and the other outside the premises. Since the refrigeration unit is generally noisy, the split system limits the noise pollution and the heat it emits.
The monobloc unit is generally installed on the wall of the cold room. Its installation is therefore simpler.
Finally, the choice of refrigerant gas is important for your cold room. It is this refrigerant that ensures the cold service and therefore the refrigeration of the room. Today, several gases for cold rooms exist. We recommend the less energy consuming ones, with a low environmental impact, such as HFOs (HydroFluoro-Olefins.
